Hi, my name is Caroline. I have a Dutch nationality, but have been living in Austria since July 2018. Currently I work as a Yoga/Meditation teacher at Ayurveda Resort Sonnhof in Hinterthiersee.
All the income of my private meditation teachings will be dedicated to a project in Khajuraho, India. Since 2011, Khajuraho has been a part of my life. During a trip with a good friend of mine, Vd. Naveen Gupta, who had his practice in Belgium years ago, I met a family which has been occupying a space in my mind and heart since then.
“During the past 14 years this connection has become much stronger. I came to know that women in Khajuraho (and probably many more places in India) are not so lucky as I am.
I was able to earn my own salary during a big part of my life, making me independent from others. With my dear friend Amar from Khajuraho, we started a project to establish a spice company in Khajuraho with the intention to create jobs for women. It makes me very happy to be able to help in one way or another to make this dream come true.”

Hi , I am Amar. I live in Khajuraho, an ancient city known for its magnificent temples and beautiful, complex sculptures. The city is located in the Chattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. I am thankful to the universe for making me a part of this journey to create a platform with the purpose of making women in Khajuraho and many other places financially independent.
After I did my engineering, I started working in the big city in a factory in India and I saw that women working there are financially independent. Women around Khajuraho are facing many domestic problems. Very often women are illiterate and have not been taught to express their full potential. The moment I became conscious of the fact why women are struggling so much, I realized that they can also get their education while working and at the same time becoming financially independent.
We, Shriwing International, started a company of Spices with the purpose to export the best quality of spices and at the same time help to make this world a better place for women.
